1992 Poder De Metal LP (Kraft des Metal / Power of Metal)

In der Industriestadt Leon / Gto. westlich von Mecico City lebt Hector Gonzales Bravo, und in den 70er Jahren spielte er in mehreren Blues und Punk Bands ehe er Anfang der 80er in der guten Metal Band CEREBRO spielte. 1988 gründet er mit 3 jungen Burschen VIXIT die die bekannteste Metal Band in der Gegend wird. 1991 belegen sie bei einem Wettbewerb "Rock en la selva de asfalto" (Rock im Asphalt Dschungel) von 45 nationalen Bands den dritten Platz. 1992 nehmen sie ihre LP auf und präsentieren ihren super Speed Metal in Eigenregie. Dieser mutige Schritt beschert uns eine der besten und rarsten Metal Scheiben aus Mexico. Sie nehmen noch weitere super Songs auf, aber nach zweimaligem Wechsel des Gitarristen löst sich die Band 1994 auf. Mit seinem Drummer und einem der zeitweiligen Gitarristen gründet Hector darauf TARANTULA mit denen sie 1997 ein Demo mehr im Thrash Stil aufnehmen, ehe sie sich noch im selben Jahr auflösen. Nur der Gitarrist Nelson Santamaria vom alten VIXIT Line-up ist noch musikalisch aktiv, und hat seine extreme Band SOULS ON FIRE, und ein True Metal Projekt, das STARFLEET heisst.

In the industrial town of Leon/Gto., west of Mexico City, lives bass player Hector Gonzales Bravo. In the 70s he played in several Blues and Punk bands, and beginning of the 80s in the great Metal band CEREBRO. In 1988 he founded together with 3 younger guys VIXIT, which soon became the most known Metal band in the area, and played even in the local TV. In 1991 they participated at the "Rock en la selva de asfalto" (Rock in the asphalt jungle) competition, and made it to the 3. Rank of 45 bands. In 1992 they released their album, which contains good Speed Metal, absolutely independent. This bold step delivers us one of the best and rarest Mexican Metal gems. They recorded more of this great songs, but in the 90s trend times they separated in 1994. With his drummer and one of his temporary guitar players he founded TARANTULA and changed to Thrash Metal. They released a Demo in 1997 but soon separated. Hector stopped playing. Only the old guitar player Nelson Santamaria from VIXIT times continues with the extreme band SOULS ON FIRE, and a True Metal project, called STARFLEET.

En el pueblo industrial de Leon/Gto., este de México vive el bajista Hector Gonzales Bravo. En los 70 tocó varias bandas Blues y Punk y al principio de los 80 en la grandiosa banda de Metal CEREBRO. En 1988 fundó con 3 jovenes pibes VIXIT, la cual pronto se convirtió en la banda de Metal mas conocida del area y tocaron en la TV local. En1991 participaron en la competencia "Rock en la selva de asfalto", y quedaron 3eros de 45 bandas. En 1992 lanzaron su 1er disco que contiene buen Speed Metal, absolutamente independiente. Este valiente paso nos entrega algo una de las mejores y mas raras joyas mexicanas. Grabaron mas de estas buenísimas canciones, pero en la tendencia de los 90 se separaron en 1994. Con su batero y uno de los guitarristas temporarion fundó TARANTULA y cambiaron a Thrash Metal. Lanzaron un demo en1997 pero pronto se separaron. Hector dejó de tocar. Solo el viejo guitarrista Nelson Santamaria de VIXIT continua con su banda extrema SOULS ON FIRE, y con un proyecto True Metal se llama STARFLEET.
