PODER OCCULTO ist die Band der Brüder Aguilar, die sie 1991 unter dem Namen MAUSOLEO gründeten. Sie veröffentlichen 2 Demos und spielen 1993 auf dem riesigen "Monsters of Rock en espanol". 1995 wechseln sie den Namen und brachten 1998 ein gutes Powermetal Kassettenalbum "Jinetes Del Apocalipsis" bei Denver heraus. Ihre CD nun ist im selben Stil, und dürfte jedes Metal Herz erfreuen! Sie werden nun von einem dritten Bruder an den Drums unterstützt. Dieser ist aber wohl gerade den Kinderschuhen entwachsen! Auf demn Foto sieht er aus wie 13 oder höchstens 15 Jahre!! Bei ihrer zweiten CD ist der kleine Bruder aber nicht mehr an den Drumms, und jemand anders übernahm de Job. Das Album ist zwar schön aufgemacht als Digipack, aber die Musik hat meiner meinung etwas nachgelassen. Die Songs sind alle recht simpel, und es sind 2 Cover Versionen mit spanischen Lyrics dabei: "Ninos de Sepulcro" (Children of the grave / Black Sabbath) und "Por siempre" (Forever / Y&T). PODER OCCULTO is the band of the brothers Aguilar, who founded the band in 1991 under the name MAUSOLEO. They released two demos and played at the big "Monsters of Rock en espanol" festival in 1993. In 1995 they changed the name, and in 1998 they released the cassette album "Jinetes del apocalipsis" with "Denver discos". This contains good Power Metal. Now they managed to realease a CD album, and a third brother joined the band. He plays the drums, and I wonder if you will see him behind that! He looks like he is only 13 years of age! But he makes a good job, and the CD contains again good Power Metal. At their second CD the little brother is gone and somebody else got the job on the drumms! The album is nicely made as digipack, but in my opinion the music is not that great anymore! The songs are a bit simpel, and it is filled with 2 cover versions with spanish lyrics: "Ninos de Sepulcro" (Children of the grave / Black Sabbath) and "Por siempre" (Forever / Y&T). PODER OCULTO es la banda de los hermanos Aguilar que fundaron la banda en 1991 bajo el nombre de MAUSOLEO. Lanzaron 2 demos y tocaron en el gran "Monsters of Rock en español" en 1993. En 1995 cambiaron el nombre y en 1998 sacaron un cassette "Jinetes del apocalipsis" con "Denver discos". Esto contiene buen Power Metal. Ahora manejan como sacar un CD y un 3er hermano se unió a la banda. Toca la bateria y me pregunto si se podrá ver detrás de eso! Parece de 13 años! Pero hace un buen trabajo y el CD contiene de nuevo buen Power Metal.
