ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto uno) LP 1986 Der Cult Sampler Mexicos schlechthin. Diese weltweit einmalige Metal Bewegung brachte ihre besten Mitglieder auf dieser Scheibe heraus. Ursprünglich nur als Mittel zur Promotion geplant entwickelt sich daraus das führende Metal Label Mexicos. Reichlich Power Metal Leckerbissen werden hier serviert. Unveröffentlichtes gibt's von GEHENNA (Powervoller als auf LP), Z (nicht ganz so rauh wie die LP), RAMSES (typischerweise nicht so stark) und die geile Non LP Band ASPID. Dazu gibt's die 2 besten Songs von KHAFRA.

ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto dos) LP 1988 Auf dem zweiten Teil sind nur Bands die es nie zu einer LP gebracht haben. Durchgehend ist angethrashter Power Metal angesagt. CUERO Y METAL haben hier nach ihrer Single 2 weitere Hymnen verewigt, ALUCARD; ABADDON und XYSTER liefern auch besten Stoff ab, nur GOG nerven mit ihrem Sänger.

PROYECTO III LP 1989 Nachdem sich die Escuadron aufgelöst hat und Lazarov und andere das ganze als richtiges Label "Avanzada Metalica" aufziehen, ändert sich der Titel. Diesmal sind wieder alles Bands die auch LP`s herausbringen, aber alles unveröffentlichte Songs. Mit der Zeit gehend gibt's hier Thrash von TRANSMETAL; NEXT; SIX BEER und INQUISIDOR (mit einer Hyperspeedgranate). Die Hymne von RAMSES "Guerreros de Metal" gibt's hier in einer viel geileren Version.

EXPLOSION METALICA LP 1988 Dies ist auch ein Schmankerl APOCALIPSIS und PUNO DE HIERRO mit je 2 unveröffentlichten Songs (aber noch nicht so powevoll wie auf ihren LP`s). SACRILEGIO mit 2anderen Versionen, und AUSTER sind auf ihrem einzigen Vinyl Einstand echt super. BESTIAL INVASION passen mit ihrem Hyperthrash nicht zu den anderen.

METALMANIA LP 1989 LP Hier gibt's auch reichlich Futter für den Liebhaber. R.I.P. und PUNO DE HIERRO haben je 2 super unreleaste Granaten im Rennen, und ESPIRITU ELECTRICO sind auch gut. Über die anderen beiden Truppen decken wir lieber den Mantel des Schweigens. Im Jahre 2003 folgte endlich eine Veröffentlichung auf CD (Covers siehe in Spanisch Abteilung)!

2. FESTIVAL METALERO AZTECA LP 1990 Dies ist ein Live Sampler vom Zweiten Festival, dass vom wichtigsten rein mexikanischen Fanzine "Banda Rockera" organisiert wurde (vom ersten existiert keine LP). Das meiste ist ziemlich heftig: NEXT; TRANSMETAL; WRECKER und CORRUPTOR. INQUISIDOR haben einen ungewöhnlich ruhigen Song am Start, und es gibt eine Jam Session mit Huizar.

LEGION SUBTERRANEA LP 1991 Zwei gute unbekannte Bands mit traditionellem Metal: ABRAXAS und FORTIA sind hier zum einzigen Mal auf Vinyl gebannt. ALLISTER dagegen prügeln guten Hyperthrash, und ESTANTAPAJAROS sind nicht besonders. Im Jahre 2003 folgte eine Veröffentlichung auf CD (Covers siehe in Spanisch Abteilung)!

LO MAS POTENTE DEL METAL Vol I - V CD`s 1995/96 Diese Serie von "Denver Records" ist nicht nur Metal, denn es finden sich auf den ersten 2 auch einige üble Rock Bands. Die meisten Tracks sind released, viele davon aber hier zum ersten mal Digital. Nummer III, IV und V sind nichts anderes als die super Sampler "E.M. Proyecto I - III". Typisches "Denver" Billig - Chaos stimmen Längen und Reihenfolgen nicht, und sind keinerlei Infos zu den Bands abgedruckt.

LO MEJOR DEL METAL AZTECA CD 2001 - ist eine gute Compilation. Die Bands spielen verschiedene Metal Stile. Traditioneller Metal überwiegt, und es sind darauf schon veröffentlichte Sachen von LUZBEL und CAMELOT und unreleaste Sachen von CALVARIA; MYSTICAL DREAMS und EROGENA. Traditionelle Bands die vorher noch nie etwas herausbrachten sind HELLSPAWN (guter rauher Metal), AVATAR (guter Power Metal), und die Rock Band LEONES liefern ein gutes melodisches Hard Rock Stück. Der Song von NEXT ist teils traditionell, teils modern, und sehr rumpelig aufgenommen, TWILIGHT spielen melodic Death, MAKINA total modernen Kram und GARROBOS mehr punkigen Stoff.

METALLIC FORCE 2003 CD-R ist eine sehr limitierte Compilation zum Konzert der enthaltenen Bands im August 2003 im Zirkus Volador in Mexico City. Es ist nur eine CD-R, aber einigermassen professionell gemacht, und angeblich auf 100 Stück limitiert. Es sind jeweils 2 Songs pro Band enthalten. Davon sind ACACIA gitarrenorientierter melodischer Power Metal; DAMN SHARK traditionell, aber sehr einfach gestrickt; TEMPLO MAYOR instrumenteller Hard Rock; EXSECROR VECORDIA Gothic Geträller mit Sängerin und FEEDBACK und FULL SHOCK totaler Mist mit Rap und Rammstein Einflüssen!

FORJADO EN FUEGO CD 2003 ist ein lokaler Sampler aus Aguascalientes. Deshalb ist darauf auch ein totaler Mix aller Stile. Die für die Leser dieser Seite interessanten Bands sind LETALURGIA die super Metal mit grossartigem Gitarreneinsatz spielten (existierten nur von 1996 - 99, 2 Demos) und ESCAPE die super Ultra Speed / Thrash Metal spielten (existierten 1987 - 90, 1 Demo), und DEMIGOD sind noch ganz o.k., sie spielen normalen Metal mit Death Stimme! Die restliche 11 Bands sind alles Death, Black und modernes Gebolze!

ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto uno) LP 1986 This is the ultimate Mexican Metal compilation! The worldwide unique Metal movement released on this record songs of their best members. This was first only planned as a one time promotion device, but it became the leading Metal company at this time. This disk delivers some great Metal pieces, including unreleased songs from GEHENNA (more powerful then on the album), RAMSES (typically not so strong)and the great band ASPID, who never released an album. It also includes two of the best songs from KHAFRA. The artwork is also great.

ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto dos) LP 1988 At the second part of the cult series are only bands included, that never released an album. All the bands play Power Metal with slight Thrash influences. CUERO Y METAL released here, after the single, 2 more hymns. ALUCARD; ABADDON and XYSTER deliver also great material. All this bands were good enough to release an album, but sadly never could do it. Only the band GOG did not have the same class, as they had a nerving singer.

PROYECTO III LP 1989 After the "Escuadron Metalico" disintegrated, Lazarov and his partners continued with the label under their own name "Avanzada Metalica", and released the third part of the compilation, skipping the name of the "Escuadron". This time he used again only bands that released albums. Going with the time it contains only Thrash, from TRANSMETAL; NEXT; SIX BEER and INQUISIDOR (with a hyper speed attack). The hymn of RAMSES comes here in a much heavier version.

EXPLOSION METALICA LP 1988 This is another gem of powerful Mexican Metal, released by the "Gas discos" label. APOCALIPSIS and PUNO DE HIERRO used two songs that are only here released. At this time they were not as powerful as on their later albums, but already great. SACRILEGIO used the two songs later on their debut album, but in different versions. AUSTER released their only two songs at an album, and delivered really great stuff. Only BESTIAL INVASION did not fit at this high class compilation with their Hyperthrash.

METALMANIA LP 1989 More fodder for the maniacs is delivered here. R.I.P. and PUNO DE HIERRO used each 2 unreleased songs, that have real class. For PUNO DE HIERRO it was the second try on a compilation, these time with "Denver discos", who later released their album. ESPIRITU ELECTRICO are also good. About the other 2 bands we better be silent. In the year 2003 followed finally a CD release (see cover in spanish section)!

2. FESTIVAL METALERO AZTECA LP 1990 This is a compilation from the 2. live festival organized by the "Banda Rockera" fanzine (from the first festival don`t exist a compilation). Most of the songs are more extreme and from NEXT; TRANSMETAL; WRECKER and CORRUPTOR. IQUISIDOR deliver a unusual tranquile song, and there is a jam session with Huizar.

LEGION SUBTERRANEO LP 1991 Two good and unknown traditional Metal bands are here released for the only time on vinyl: ABRAXAS and FORTIA. Good Hyperthrash play ALLISTER, and ESTANTA PAJAROS are not very good. In the year 2003 followed finally a CD release (see cover in spanish section)!

LO MAS POTENTE DEL METAL Vol I - V CDs 1995/96 This series from "Denver discos" is not pure Metal, as the first 2 parts contain also some really bad Rock bands. Most of the songs are released somewhere, but here for the first time digital. The numbers III, IV and V are nothing other than the "E.M. Proyecto I - III". Typical "Denver" chaos the sequences and length of the songs are mixed, and you don`t get any informations about the bands.

LO MEJOR DEL METAL AZTECA CD 2001 is a great compilation! The bands play different styles of Metal. From traditional Metal bands there are already released tracks from LUZBEL and CAMELOT and unreleased material from CALVARIA; MYSTICAL DREAMS and EROGENA. Traditional bands who did not release anything berfore are HELLSPAWN (good raw Metal), AVATAR (good Power Metal), and the Rock band LEONES deliver a good melodic Hard Rock track. NEXT play a part traditional and part modern track, which is very raw recorded, TWILIGHT play melodic Death, MAKINA total modern stuff and GARROBOS more punky stuff.

METALLIC FORCE 2003 CD-R is a very limitierte compilation for a concert of the contained bands in August 2003 in the circus Volador in Mexico City. It is only a CD-R, but fairly professional done and made only in 100 copies. It contains 2 songs per band. From this ACACIA play guitar oriented melodic Power Metal; DAMN SHARK traditional, but very simple Metal; TEMPLO MAYOR instrumental Hard Rock; EXSECROR VECORDIA Gothic with female singer and FEEDBACK and FULL SHOCK crap with Rap and Rammstein parts!

FORJADO EN FUEGO CD 2003 is a local compilation from Aguascalientes. That is why it contains a big mix of styles. For the readers of this page should be most interesting LETALURGIA which played super Metal with great guitar parts (existed onls from 1996 - 99, 2 demos) and ESCAPE who made super Ultra Speed / Thrash Metal (existed from 1987 - 90, 1 demo), and DEMIGOD are also o.k., which played normal Metal with Death vocals! The other 11 bands are all Death, Black or modern 90s bands!

COMPLIACIONES MEXICANAS

ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto uno) LP 1986 - Esta es la ultima compilación mexicana! Esto fue 1ero planeado como un proyecto promocional, pero se convirtió en la compania metalera lider al momento. El disco entrega algunas gran piezas de Metal, incluyendo canciones no lanzadas de GEHENNA (mas poder en el disco), RAMSES (tipicalmente no tan fuerte) y la grandiosa ASPID, quienes nunca sacaron un disco. Tambien incluyó 2 de las mejores canciones de KHAFRA. El arte de tapa es grandioso tambien.

ESCUADRON METALICO (Proyecto dos) LP 1988 - En la 2da parte de las series de culto solo bandas estan incluidas que nunca lanzaron un disco. Todas las bandas tocan Power Metal con ligeras influencias Thrash. CUERO Y METAL lanzaron aca , despues del single, 2 himnos mas. ALUCARD; ABADDON y XYSTER entrega tambien buen material. Todas estas bandas fueron suficientemente buenas para lanzar un album, pero lamentablemente nunca pudieron. Solo la banda GOG no tuvo la misma clase, ya que tenian un vigoroso cantante.

PROYECTO III LP 1989 - despues de que "Escuadron Metalico" se desintegró , Lazarov y sus compañeros continuaron con el sello bajo el nombre de "Avanzada Metalica", y lanzaron una tercera parte de la compilación, omitiendo el nombre de "Escuadron". Esta vez uso tambien bandas que sacaron discos. Al tiempo contienen solo Thrash, desde TRANSMETAL; NEXT; SIX BEER e INQUISIDOR (con un super rápido ataque). El himno de RAMSES viene aca con una versión mas pesada.

EXPLOSION METALICA LP 1988 - esta es otra joya de poderoso Metal mexicano, lanzado por el sello “Gas discos”. APOCALIPSIS y PUÑO DE HIERRO usaron 2 canciones que solo aca estan lanzadas. En este tiempo no eran tan poderosos como en sus siguientes discos, pero era bueno. SACRILEGIO uso sus 2 canciones en su disco debut mas tarde, pero en diferentes versions. AUSTER saco sus 2 canciones solo en ese disco, y dieron muy buen trabajo. Solo BESTIAL INVASION no encajó en este compilado de clase alta con su Hyperthash.

METALMANIA LP 1989 - mas forraje para los maniacos se entrega aca. R.I.P. and PUÑO DE HIERRO usaron ambos canciones no lanzadas. Para PUÑO DE HIERRO era la segunda prueba en un compilado, este tiempo con "Denver discos", quien mas tarde saco su 1er disco. ESPIRITU ELECTRICO son tambien buenos. Sobre las otras 2 bandas mejor hago silencio. En 2003 se fueron lanzar finalmente una edicion en CD!

2. FESTIVAL METALERO AZTECA LP 1990 esta es una compilacion del 2do festival en cico organizado por el zine "Banda Rockera" (de su 1er festival no existe compilación). La mayoria de las canciones son extremas y de NEXT; TRANSMETAL; WRECKER y CORRUPTOR. IQUISIDOR entregan inusuales canciones, y hay una sesion con Arturo Huizar.

LEGION SUBTERRANEO LP 1991 2 buenas y no reconocidas bandas de Metal tradicional estan aca, lanzadas por unica vez en vinilo: ABRAXAS y FORTIA. Buen Hyperthrash tocan ALLISTER y ESTANTA PAJAROS no son muy buenos. En 2003 se fueron lanzar finalmente una edicion en CD!

LO MAS POTENTE DEL METAL Vol I - V CDs 1995/96 esta serie de "Denver discos" no es puro Metal, como las 2 1eras partes contiene tambien algunas realmente malas bandas de Rock. La mayoria de las canciones son lanzadas en otro lado, pero aca por 1era vez en digital. Los numeros III, IV y V son nada mas que "Escuadron Metalico Proyecto I - III". Tipicas secuencias caoticas "Denver" y lentitud de canciones son mezcladas y no tenes información sobre las bandas.
