2000 Sarkastica Demo CD

SARKASTICA ....jaaah, diese Girls kicken Ass. Sie fallen über dich her mit Thrash Metal, der viel Power und Breaks hat. Die Schwestern Marisol (dr.) und Marisa Blanco (git.) gründeten die Band 1993 zusammen mit Samara Abuin (bs) und Elsa Gonzales, die eine Stimme wie eine Schwester von KREATOR`s Mille hat...wow. 1996 machten sie ein Demo, auf dem sie ihren abwechslungsreichen Thrash gut präsentierten. Kurz danach mussten sie eine neue Sängerin suchen. Mit Brenda Cuesta fanden sie eine andere Vocalistin mit sehr rauhem Gesang. Sie spielte vorher in vielen Punk Bands, wie z.B. CONTRABANDO; FUERZA INTERNA und NOGAL. Später schafften sie es auf die Sampler "Especies en distortion" des bolivianischen "Thrash" Fanzines, und auf den "Nahuel II" zu kommen, aber eine eigene CD liess auf sich warten. Im Jahr 2000 hatten sie aber schon einmal ein langes Demo zusammengestellt, das auch als volle CD herausgegeben hätte werden könnte. Leider hat es damit doch nichtgeklappt! Die Band ist auseinandergefallen, und Brenda macht nun bei der Band BLOODPARADE und der MISFITS Cover Band THE MISFITS GIRLS weiter! Vielleicht bringt ja doch noch jemand das Material "post mortem" heraus! Aber wahrscheinlich muss ich es selbst machen, um euch von der grossartigen Speed Thrash Attacke dieser Mädels überrollen zu lassen!

SARKASTICA....yeah these young girls kick ass. They play Thrash Metal with lots of breaks and power. The sisters Marisol (drums) and Marisa Blanco (guitar) founded the band in 1993 together with Samara Abuin (bass) and Elsa Gonzales, who has a voice like a sister of Mille from Kreator....wow. In 1996 they recorded a 6 track demo where they captured very well this rough Metal. Shortly after that they had to replace the singer.
With Brenda Cuesta they found another impressive harsh vocalist. She was playing in a lot of Punk bands before, like CONTRABANDO; FUERZA INTERNA and NOGAL. Later they made it on to the compilations "Especies en distortion" from the fanzine "Thrash" in Bolivia, and "Nahuel II". They planned for a long time to record and release an album. In the year 2000 they put together a long demo, which could be easy released as a official CD. But sadly the band split in 2002 before the girls could show the boys where the hammer hits!!
Brenda joined the band BLOODPARADE and plays also in theMISFITS cover band THE MISFITS GIRLS. Hopefully somebody will release the great material of SARKASTICA "post mortem"! But it seems, that I have to do it myself, so I can overrun you with this great Thrash Speed attack!!

SARKASTICA...seeee estas jóvenes chicas rompen ortos.Tocan Thrash Metal con un montón de quiebres y poder. Las hermanas Marisol (batería) y Marisa Blanco (guitarra) formaron la banda en 1993 junto con Samara Abuin (bajo) y Elsa Gonzales, que tiene la voz como una hermana de Mille de KREATOR...wow. En 1996 grabaron un demo de 6 canciones donde capturaron muy bien este áspero Metal. Poco después tuvieron que reemplazar la cantante. Con Brenda Cuesta encontraron otra impresionante áspera cantante. Ella tocaba en un montón de bandas Punk antes como CONTRABANDO, FUERZA INTERNA y NOGAL. Luego lo hicieron en compilaciones "Especies en distorsión" del fanzine "Thrash" en Bolivia y "Nahuel II". Planearon por largo rato la grabación de un disco. En el aņo 2000 pusieron un largo demo junto, el cual podria ser facil la salida de un album. Pero tristemente la banda se separó en el 2002 antes de que las chicas le demostraran a los hombres donde golpea el martillo!!
Brenda continua en la banda BLOODPARADE y toce tambien en uns banda covers de MISFITS (THE MISFITS GIRLS).Afortunadamente alguien va a relanzar el gran material de SARKASTICA "post mortem"! Pero parece que voy a tener que ser yo mismo, asi que los puedo desbordar con este grandioso ataque Thrash Speed!
