Die Lücke die V8 im härteren Bereich gelassen hat wird 1988 vom V8 Boss und Basser Iorio geschlossen. Von der Demo Band CERBERO holt er den Gitarristen und den Drummer. Vor allem Sänger Claudio O' Connor von der Band MARK wird mit seinen unverwechselbar gekrähten Vocals zur "Metal Stimme Argentiniens". Seine Texte sind auch sehr kritisch und sprechen den Jugendlichen aus der Seele. Dazu knüppeln sie sehr guten Thrash Metal. So steht ihnen nichts mehr im Wege, die neue Kult Band zu werden. Ihre erste Scheibe schlägt voll in der Szene ein. Es folgt eine Cover EP (frei nach METALLICA), und das glänzende Album "Acido Argentino". Hier gibt der neue Drummer Strunz seinen Einstand (Frage: "Bist du deutscher Abstammung?" "Nee, der Name hörte sich nur cool an"). Als sie auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Popularität sind wird Iorio immer seltsamer, erst läßt er sich einen Irokesen schneiden und dann läuft er mit Vollglatze herum, außerdem startet er nebenbei mit einer eigenen Band. Erst 1994, nach etlichen Live Veröffentlichungen kommt der dritte Longplayer heraus. Zu der Zeit hatte man sich aber schon so weit entfremdet, daß die Gruppe auseinanderbricht. Der Hass geht so weit, daß sie nie mehr miteinander reden oder gar auf dem selben Konzert Live spielen. Nachdem aus V8 viele gute neue Bands sprießen, entstehen aus HERMETICA zwei neue Kult Bands: MALON und ALMAFUERTE. Im Jahre 2002 erscheint eine Tribute CD, die sehr viel Spass macht! Daran nehmen bekannte Bands wie TREN LOCO; RENACER; CARINA ALFIE und KYBALION teil, der Rest ist aber meist totaler Underground, wie z.B. HUAYKIL; LEVAS; POLVO DE ANGEL, oder aus dem Inland, wie REO und AONIKENK aus Patagonien! Dies ergibt recht interessante Versionen der alten Kult Songs, die sowieso jeder Argentinien Metaller auswendig kennt!
Das Vinyl der Band ist schwierig zu bekommen. Es gibt noch etliche Live CDs, die ich hier nicht erwähne.

The gap that V8 left was closed when Ricardo Iorio founded HERMETICA. From the demo band CERBERO he got the drummer and guitaar player, and especially singer Claudio O` Connor from the band MARK developed with his croaked vocals to "The Metal voice of Argentina". His lyrics were very critical and went through the heart of the Metal fans. The first album hit the scene like a hammer, and it followed a cover EP. With the new drummer Strunz they recorded another great album and got into the Metal Olympus. They were on the top of their career, but Iorio got more and more strange, cut his hair like an Iroquois, and later cut it totally off, and he started his own band. Only in 1994 after several live CDs came the next and last album. They were already very alienated, and split soon after the release. The hate between them is so deep that Iorio till today don`t talk with the others, or even plays on the same concert with them. Out of the split-up of V8 many new bands were arising, and out of HERMETICA came 2 new bands: ALMAFUERTE and MALON. In the year 2002 a Tribute CD was released, which brings a lot of fun! Here participate known bands like TREN LOCO; RENACER; CARINA ALFIE and KYBALION, but most of the rest is total underground, like HUAYKIL; LEVAS; POLVO DE ANGEL, or from the interior, like REO und AONIKENK from Patagonien! This results in very interesting versions of the old cult songs, which every argentinine Metalhead knows anyway!
The vinyl records are quite rare. There are several live CDs out, but I do not cover them!

El vacio que dejo V8 fue cerrado cuando Ricardo Iorio fundo HERMETICA. De la bandas de demos CERBERO y MARK, tomo a los otros tres, y especialmente a Claudio O`Connor quien llego a ser "La voz de Metal de Argentina". Sus letras eran de mucha critica y se gano el corazon de los fanaticos del Metal. El primer album golpeo la escena como un martillo, y lo siguio un E.P. de "Covers", con su nuevo baterista Strunz grabaron otro gran disco y subieron al olimpo del Metal. Estaban en el tope de su carrera, pero Iorio se fue volviendo cada vez mas extraño, corto su cabello como un mohicano, y luego se lo corto todo, y empezo su propia banda. Solo en 1994 luego de varios CDs en vivo, vino el proximo y ultimo album, ya estaban bastante distantes uno del otro y la bnada se separo poco despues del lanzamiento. El odio entre ellos es tan profundo que Iorio todavia no le habla a ninguno de los demas, ni siquiera toca en el mismo concierto con ninguno de ellos. De la separacion de V8, varias bandas nacieron, y fuera de HREMETICA, vinieron dos bandas nuevas: ALMA FUERTE y MALON. En el anio 2002 se fueron lanzar un CD tributo! Participaren bandas conocidas como TREN LOCO; RENACER; CARINA ALFIE y KYBALION, pero el resto es muy under, como HUAYKIL; LEVAS; ÜOLVO DE ANGEL, o de interior, como REO y AONIKENK de Patagonien!
Los discos vinylos son raros. Existen mas CDs en vivo!
